African Safari Holidays

Safari means a trip or a small expedition to the dense forests or national park either with the safari travel guide or a self driving. If it is the safari holidays then it should be definitely Africa. Africa is a country famous for its beautiful landscapes, greenery and is proud of its wildlife. This country is popular among all the tourists who have a special wild feeling, love wildlife and are very enthusiastic in going out for an adventurous fun and thrill. There are various countries in Africa to enjoy the safari experience and that is Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Namibia.

It is often considered nice to go in the clear sky months such as from November to February. For money matters you should go in the months of April to mid June. Do not spoil your safari in the wet season.
  3. A general rule of enjoying safari in depth is to stay at least 2 nights in every national park as it is not just about seeing but also experiencing. So duration should not be your main concern while going on a safari in Africa.
  4. Choose your safari locations where you can stay and have rest. Take the help of your safari operator to guide you about the geographical features, wildlife, accommodations etc. The well known parks in Kenya are Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Samburu, while in Tanzania the big draws are Ngorongoro and Serengeti. See that the national park is having the fewer crowds of the tourists and vehicles to enjoy the natural and authentic experience.
  5. Decide where you really want to stay. Book a safari lodge or hotels to get the facilities there to be comfortable. Apart from that people choose to stay in the permanent safari camps also.
  6. Take your passport and visa while going out to safari pleasure. Make sure that you pack your bags lightly but with the most essential things. Do not forget to keep the medical kit with other important travel accessories. Food and water in lots of quantity. Take each and every advice of the guides or safari operators. The famous dress for safari travel is khaki pants and t-shirts. Do not forget to keep the binoculars, camera, personal skin care products etc.
  7. Extra care and precautions should be taken if you are traveling with your kids. Make sure that they are safe and healthy and are not affected by any harmful disease or fever. Do not be so strict to them and make it very interesting for them to see the wild animals without getting them scared.
